A Tour of Brunelleschi's Florence

On this tour your expert local guide will take you through the buildings that form the Santa Maria del Fiore complex. St. John's Baptistery, with its magnificient bronze doors by Andrea Pisano, and Giotto's Bell Tower, a showpiece of the Florentine Gothic architecture designed by Lorenzo Ghiberti. Climb to the top of the majestic dome engineered by Brunelleschi where you will enjoy breathtaking views of the whole city.
Your guide will show you the Orsanmichele Church, a unique monument which joins civil and religious functions. Among the 14 statues treasured by the Church are works by Lorenzo Ghiberti, Brunelleschi, Donatello, and Giambologna.
Our tour ends at the Palagio di Parte Guelfa, a complex of buildings built in the first decades of the 14th century that once housed the headquarters of the Parta Guelfa during the years of the fight with the Ghibellini, the other major political party of the time.
Your ticket for this tour is valid for 24-hours and gives you the oportunity to climb Giotto's Bell Tower as well as the Cupola of Brunelleschi.

Pick-Up/Drop-Off: Our guide will pick you up from your Florence City-Centre Hotel, or other central location in Florence (Santa Maria Novella Rail Station, etc). Your tour will conclude at a point within the city-centre, where your guide may assist with instructions to return to your hotel or recommend further sightseeing opportunities or dining options.
